Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa Announces 2021 Scholarship Award Numbers

The Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa has awarded $500,973 in scholarships to students across its 20-county region. A total of 252 scholarships have been awarded as of July 6, to students pursuing higher education opportunities. "We want to congratulate these students on their accomplishments, and we are honored to be part of supporting their dreams of furthering their education," said Kaye Englin, CFNEIA President and CEO.

SACG Golf Tournament and Fund Raiser a Success Thank you to all who supported the 9th Annual Shellsburg Area Community Group's Golf Tournament and Fund Raiser on June 19. We are thankful to the many area businesses who purchased hole sponsorships and provided silent auction prizes. Thanks also to the golfers! Funds raised will go toward community projects for Shellsburg.

MCC 2020-2021 Spring graduates announced

On Friday, May 7, graduates of Marshalltown Community College took their next step as they became alumni of the College. Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, unfortunately, MCC was unable to have an in person ceremony to honor the graduates. A virtual ceremony was presented to celebrate the graduates. April Dawn Kriegel, of Blairstown, received her Diploma in - Medical Office Practitioner* Kriegel completed her diploma work during the fall 2020 term and spring 2021 terms.

Spring 2021 University of Dubuque Dean's List

ECC announces 2021 Spring Term Dean's List

One hundred thirty-two students were named to the Spring 2021 (January to May) Dean's List at Ellsworth Community College. To be eligible for the Dean's List, students must have earned a minimum of 12 credit hours during the semester (a full-time class load) and had at least a 3.5 grade point average for the Spring 2021 semester. Part-time students are not included in this list.
